.The Director of International Tax will be a key member of the Tax Team acting as a subject matter expert for regulatory and legislative matters pertaining to the global taxation of Gartner's worldwide operations.In addition they will manage a team of tax professionals across multiple tax disciplines.This highly visible position will work in a cross-functional capacity on advanced, mission-critical concepts.What You'll Do Serve as subject matter expert with respect to global taxation of multinational corporations (i..GILTI, Sub F, FTC, CAMT, Pillar 2/GMT, W/H tax, etc.) and associated concepts.Act as project manager for special projects inclusive of global minimum tax workstreams (e.., planning, compliance, reporting,etc.).Conduct technical research on various matters and report out to leadership Provide oversight to global legislative environment.Coach, mentor, establish and monitor goals, and other tasks associated with team management.Liaise with reporting and compliance colleagues to ensure calculations are in line with regulations.Evaluate risk and recommend appropriate reserve levels.Provide technical support for modelling/scenario planning.Manage other assigned special projects.What You'll Need Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 8-10 years' experience working for a large public accounting firm or combination of public accounting and large multinational corporation Strong understanding of U.tax regulations, especially with respect to taxation on international operations (i.., GILTI, FDII, FTC, Sub Part F, BEAT, etc.) Strong understanding of global minimum tax regulations (i.., OECD Pillar 2) Experience managing a growing team of professionals in various locations.Proven track record of project management Proficiency using research tools such as CCH, Bloomberg, IBFD, etc.Desired Advanced degree in taxation/law (e.., MST, J..)
