Prepares and completes the needed action plans.ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and technical depth about the company and the industry as well as strong focus to safety.Main tasks:EHS (70%):Achieves EHS objectives of the Plant by practicing safe working methodology and strengthening the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures as set out by the Plant and Imerys. Lead the full compliance with all Company policies and procedures.Provides daily guidance and direction in EHS programs at the employee, supervisor and department responsible level to ensure a common and effective approach.Reviews any EHS´s incident which occur in the area of responsibility and conduct field audits, reporting and managing the corrective actions.Ensures that contractor personnel working on the Plant are in compliance with Company policies and safety requirements.Provides advice, assist, and audit line management to ensure that effective EHS is implemented and working.Reports and maintains filing systems regarding EHSPerforms and contributes to the training programs for the Operation.Ensures inspections by regulatory agencies are coordinated and deficiencies minimized and corrected. Maintain all logs and documentation associated with permits and regulatory requirements.Maintains working relationships with local and national Regulatory Agencies.Quality (30%):Develops quality assurance plans by conducting detailed analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other departments to develop manufacturing and training methods, new product and engineering designs,Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.QualificationsReporting to Site ManagerEducation: Engineering degree (mandatory).
