The Operations Analyst will be reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for investigating outstanding reconciliation items, testing and updating system configuration and providing support to Operations functions relating to change and system enhancements. In addition, you will provide support for analysing, administering and implementing changes to processes, procedures and/or products and services that result in increased efficiency and/or cost reduction, related to Payments, settlements and cash management.

We contribute to our community What you'll do; Investigating and clearing outstanding bank reconciliation items Testing and managing changes to internal system configurations relating to payments and settlements. Assisting with the management of liquidity across all client bank accounts and ensuring compliance with all PSR and banking regulations Support bank account applications and processes. Managing access to third party banking/payment provider platforms Analysis Research new products and services and provide recommendations to Operations Managers Operational Access Right audits ensuring all users rights are relevant to roles and seniority. Liaise with Key stakeholders to develop cost versus benefit analysis, draft business requirements and review and refine functional specifications. Adopt a 'Creative thinking' approach to produce new ideas and concepts Contribute to the timely execution and delivery of change initiatives UAT co-ordination for operations and key contact for business - design and execute UAT test scripts for the purpose of validating changes that have been implemented Process and Policy management relating to cash operations. Seeking further advice where required and implementing processes to mitigate risks. Operational Configuration Maintenance ensuring all internal system and configurations are correct and up to date. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding on industry wide developments in IT, Banking, Settlements, Finance and Compliance Assist with daily payments & settlement tasks, on occasions, to identify process improvements and potential risk failures Bank Account Management
Provide specialist currency knowledge to the business ensuring that currency reach & delivery opportunity is maximised from all banking partners Ensure where possible we never occur an overdrawn balance on any bank account and that controls are in place within operations as preventative measures. Ensure operational processes and reporting are compliant with all guidelines set by compliance in order to comply with PSR and banking regulations Reconciling all ledger and bank statement entries and investigating/resolving any anomalies; Administration
Assist with application process for new banking relationships. Assist with applications for new accounts with existing banking relationships and ensure banking mandates are up to date, in line with board resolutions. Manage online banking implementation, training, issue resolution and system administration to comply with segregation of duties. Additional responsibilities
