New Job Opportunity - Environmental Scientist:New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Toledo, OH. Looking to hire a mid level environmental scientist with a minimum of four years of related work experience. We are trying to fill this role within the next 2 weeks.Logistics of the Role:Full Time - Direct HireOn SiteDay to Day Activities:Work on a wide variety of environmental compliance and natural resources projects as they relate to water resources, transportation and development projectsWork under the supervision of mid-level and senior environmental scientist and water resource engineersTake responsibility for assisting with environmental permits, NEPA documentation, biological assessments and other environmental compliance documentationConduct ASTM/AAI compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) projects, which includes site inspections, research and interviews, data review and interpretation, and report writing.Planning, coordination, and contractor oversight of various subsurface investigation projectsComplete Tier I level technical reviews of various environmental assessment reports.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related Engineering degree5+ years of experience performing ASTM/AAI compliant Phase I ESAs, Phase II ESAsDepending on the project: Ability to frequently travel on day tripsPreferred:OSHA 40-hour certification and current 8-hour refresher certification#J-18808-Ljbffr
