Financial Analyst

We are looking for a strong professional who will be responsible for a 360 view of the financial activities of the country, starting with accounting and expanding to all fields of finance.The position reports to a Finance manager based in Spain, with a dotted line to the country manager within the country. The geographic scope of the job covers Spain.Job Responsibilities:-General AccountingResponsible for complete and accurate financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet)Manage the month end close by publishing results, setting up reviews with country manager and EMEA financeProvide Aging reports to management, monitor and assist in resolutionReviews the monthly payroll as provided by our external providerPosts the entries into the GLCustomer Financial Services:Supervise the collection process to ensure proper follow up actions are taken with customersPublish monthly reporting on aging receivablesResponsible for the credit request processFinancial Planning:Manage the yearly business planning processSupport forecasting of the activity on a monthly basisSupport Country manager in defining corrective actions to achieve the planSupports the justification and approval process for future capital spending requirementsTreasury:Monitor the bank accountsPrepare Cash Flow for funding requestsAssess best solutions for treasury related issuesMiscellaneous:Support the country managers on ad-hoc financial requestsAct as a business partner to the operations management teamExpert in Spanish Taxation (direct and indirect)Expert in IFRS principlesRequirements:-Education:Degree in accounting (D.E.C.F level required)Experience and Knowledge:Minimum 4 years work experience in accountingGood communication skills including local and English language proficiency;Strong ability to work independentlyPersonal Attributes:Willing and capable to take initiatives, positive attitudeAdditional Information Posting Date: 2024-04-22FedEx Logistics provides freight forwarding, as well as import and export services that allow companies to reach markets throughout the world.
