Group Data Privacy Records of Processing, Metrics, (D)PIAs CounselVerisure is seeking a talented, dynamic and resourceful Group Data Privacy Records of Processing, Metrics, (D)PIAs Counsel with experience with handling privacy operations, collaborating across various stakeholder groups, and working with the privacy platform OneTrust, to be part of a passionate team enabling sustainable business growth. The role will be a part of our fast-growing Legal team and will report initially to our Group Head of Privacy | Chief Privacy Officer, and later (upon hire of this newly created role) into the Group Data Privacy Operations, PM, Audits & Metrics Manager.This role will be expected to have immediate impact.You will partner in identifying actionable solutions for operational privacy risk handling, metric generation, representation and reporting on key privacy program processes against the backdrop of an evolving (EU) regulatory landscape.The successful candidate will thrive in a fast pace, agile, international, and entrepreneurial business environment and will be a key player and work closely with the teams across our Company. For over 30 years, The Legal 500 has been analyzing the capabilities of law firms across the world, turning its attention to in-house legal functions which are driving the legal business forward.The Legal team also offers the ability to continuously grow, with several examples over the past period of moves, growing responsibilities and promotions within the Function.Join us to become one of us – business enablers and essential contributors to sustainable business growth.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include: A hands-on role to carry out crucial operational privacy processes across the Group, but if needed also in support of clusters, countries,and business function.Covers inter alia:Conducting Records of Processing questionnaires and ensuring its quality.Conducting (D)PIAs and ensuring its quality.Liaising with key stakeholders in the group privacy, commercial legal, innovation, procurement and infosec roles and across countries and business functions.Providing privacy advice on a range of emerging matters.Ensure standardization of key processes on the ground and adherence with standards, managing revision control where practice requires it.Ensures quality of metrics and KPIs from OneTrust and other key sources to ensure an up-to-date insight to privacy program progress.Support data subject request handling or other privacy topics,where volumes require.Support consent management and in-app operational processes.Collaborates with internal and external partners to create efficient and to- the-point metric reports from OneTrust.Handles trouble shooting issues in OneTrust and relationship management.Supports the Arlo business. Location Preferred locations Amsterdam or Madrid, possibility for Solna or Malmö, in Sweden.Starting dateAs soon as possible. Candidate profileQualifications, Experiences, and CompetenciesCandidates must be (preferably) qualified lawyers with a demonstrable knowledge, experience, and interest in privacy operational matters, and have a talent for working with privacy software and have a collaborative nature. He/she will have exceptional analytical and communication skills together with a pragmatic and resilient approach. In terms of experience,the ideal candidate will have:Experience gained in a global and fast paced organization.Excellent awareness of and interest in developing law in the EU.Understanding of, and participation in, operational projects . involving data processing activity assessments (records of processing management) and (D)PIAs and use of the OneTrust platform across multiple countriesA successful track record of providing commercial and strategic advice and guidance to a variety of stakeholders and levels of understanding of privacy matters.Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe (CIPP/E) qualification or equivalent.Experience from a major law firm or a business with a strong international footprint.4 years of professional (legal) experience or more - potential for development, appetite to be challenged and energy to learn is key!In terms of competencies, the ideal candidate will: Have a pragmatic approach,seeing the legal function as a business enabler.Have effective time and project management skills, with a proven track record of getting things done and leading projects.Have very high EQ and level of judgment – be a strong, confident but humble leader that exerts influence through persuasion.
