The new W Ibiza is located in Santa Eulalia, which is a short drive from Ibiza city's popular high-end entertainment zone. Santa Eulalia is a charming town with various new upper-upscale hotels opening in recent years. The hotel offers 162 rooms and suites and feature extensive F&B facilities with a signature restaurant, all day café with direct access from the boulevard, W Lounge, Wetdeck, Beach Club and Rooftop Destination Bar, as well as Away Spa. The hotel is planned to reopen may 2020. POSITION SUMMARY
The job of a welcome desk agent is to ensure that our guests are greeted upon arrival and provided with an efficient check-in. A responsibility during check in is to ensure that all guest preferences are fulfilled as well as retrieving all necessary guest information like the method of payment.


The Welcome Desk is often the first point of contact for guests, we need to be extremely knowledgeable of the hotel, the facilities and the area. Communication with other departments is very important to ensure an efficient operation. Multitasking will be part of the job and you should be able to remain calm in sometimes busy situations. As a Welcome Desk Agent we occasionally have to deal with difficult situations, you should be confident in dealing with those as well.


W is all about creating memorable experience, and we encourage all of our talents to be creative and go the extra mile for our guests.


Being a Welcome Desk Agent you are also responsible for the lasting impression of the hotel: during check-out I ensure that the guests enjoyed their experience. The billing needs to be accurate and payment needs to be obtained.


The Welcome Desk is covered 24/7 and the different shifts are rotated between all talents. We all take great pride in being part of the team: knowing we help build memories and making their stay special together! CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience


Minimum of 1-year experience in the same or similar role


Fluent in Spanish/ English & other languages are a plus.


Experience in the luxury hospitality segment is an advantage CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
• Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
• Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
• Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges.
• Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
• Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
• Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
• Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
• Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
• Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
• Count bank at the beginning and end of shift.
• Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
