Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Indirect Buyer. The role will part of a growing and talented Procurement Team and will report directly to the Indirect Procurement Manager. This is a critical role that will contribute to enhance the procurement function for indirect categories in our Spanish Headquarter. The role is based in Madrid.The role will be expected to impact quickly and develop as the business grows. At a moment, when Procurement is defining its next ambition on global strategy for indirect categories.The Buyer will be responsible for executing the indirect procurement function in the Spanish Headquarter for the assigned categories. He/she will collaborate, support and influence business leaders and stakeholders across the whole P2P process, from purchase requisition and negotiation, to purchase order.This will include contributing to a Procurement Plan to maximize advantages for the Company, drafting the sourcing strategy for each category under his/her responsibility, leading execution of tenders (from drafting of specifications to award and contract signature), influencing stakeholders to define and standardize their requirements, while ensuring compliance with Procurement processes and policy.Responsibilities will include:Execution of the Procurement Plan on categories under his/her responsibility, maximizing savings in the organizationCollaborate, support and influence across the whole P2P process, from purchase requisition and negotiation, to purchase order.Execute tenders (RFPs), negotiation with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and supplier qualification and selectionEnsure process and policy complianceGather specifications of products and services required by business areas Drafting contracts, and negotiating agreements with suppliers in coordination with Legal counsel and internal stakeholders Lead market and spend analysis Develop solutions that meet the organization needs and results Identify and anticipate issues in the execution of the projects, identify and implement solutions, escalate as required Identify risks and escalate them to Manager Follow risk mitigation actions & processes defined Manage issues with suppliers, monitor periodically agreements and supplier evaluation, including monitor supplier performance in line with the scope of services agreed Propose and lead improvements in the Procurement department, processes and policies Report as needed on all areas of responsibility Interaction with the business areas and suppliers Lead procurement conversations with suppliers as needed Lead conversations with business areas to communicate, influence, present and discuss the results of each of the stages of negotiation, in order to keep the business and suppliers informed of the activities and progress of each category Advise the business of the supplier(s) to be selected and criteria Be a communication channel between business and suppliers Represent the business position with the suppliers to obtain the most appropriate proposals for the internal client Communicate results and progress of the negotiations LocationThe role is based in Madrid (Spain).Reports and organization structureDirect reporting line to the Indirect Procurement Manager. Candidate profileExperiences and QualificationsUniversity Degree, preferably Graduate or Bachelor in Business Administration or Engineering 3 years relevant experience sourcing indirect products and services, as part of a procurement team in a large organisation. Among other categories: Facilities Management, Utilities, Events, Communication and Brand, Online & Offline Marketing, Contact Center, Human Resources, Professional services, Logistics, Financial services, etcAdvanced level on Microsoft Office.
