The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our clients work for private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering water designs for many years, throughout the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand among others. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation and Water projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for Enterprise Capabilities. The responsibilities of this role include: Works on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC, with work being reviewed by senior or experienced engineers. Works on routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. Performs hydraulics and drainage engineering calculations with supervision. Performs a self-check of work products prior to submitting to others and participates in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff. Can set standards and procedures for CAD and modelling works. Open to do some designing work when required. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Available to participate in our 6-week Summer Internship Program from June to July 2024. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with CADD software, GIS, and, or H&H software (preferred but not required). Fluent in English (oral and written).
