As a Beazley employee, you also get access to our fantastic array of benefits which include commuting reimbursement, free in-office lunch, six months parental leave and a lifestyle allowance, amongst many others.Job Title: Wordings Lawyer, International Cyber RisksDivision: Cyber RisksReports To: Head of Cyber Risks WordingsKey Relationships: Cyber Risks Underwriting Management Team, Cyber Risks Underwriters, Cyber Risks Business Management, Digital Underwriters, Speciality Risks Underwriters, Speciality Risk Wordings, Cyber Risks Claims, Compliance, Incubation and all other relevant stakeholdersJob Summary: Provide underwriting and wordings support to Cyber Risks and other Beazley trading teams as necessary with respect to Cyber and Tech products.Key Responsibilities:WordingsPrimary focus is on:Drafting and reviewing international policy wordings and endorsements to support business/underwriting objectives of Cyber Risks.Assisting international Cyber Risks Underwriters in addressing coverage issues raised in the underwriting and negotiation process to enable successful closing of business opportunities.Leading wordings negotiations with broking partners.Managing the localisation of wordings and endorsements for different countries where required.Assist Cyber Risks Underwriters in achieving sales and service goals by providing high quality and timely response to queries raised.Providing support on underwriting, product development, and coverage issues.Review confidentiality agreements and warranty statements as needed for Cyber Risks Underwriters to engage in the underwriting process.Assist Cyber Risks Underwriters in addressing bespoke coverage requests; this requires interaction with Brokers, Insureds, other key external stakeholders (i.e. insured counsel).Collaborate with the Head of Underwriting Management, the Head of International Underwriting Management and the Cyber Risks Product Owner and Underwriting Manager to facilitate an organised knowledge management and sharing process.Coordinate projects and work collaboratively with other key stakeholders internally, including but not limited to other Cyber Risks Underwriting Management teammates, Speciality Risk Wordings, Compliance, Claims, Conduct Risk, UW Controls and Operations, Marketing and IT.Monitor competitive landscapes for the continuous improvement of wordings and underwriting controls.Participate in Cyber Risks Business Planning, Away Days, Broker/Client meetings and other Marketing events, as required and appropriate.Provide assistance with additional projects and/or legal services for Cyber Risks Underwriting Management, Underwriters and Cyber Services, as needed.Monitor claims developments and impact of wording on claims.Participate in strategy review and structure of the wordings team together with the Head of Cyber Risks Wordings.GeneralIt is important that within all your interactions both internally and externally you adhere to Beazley's core values - Being Bold, Striving for Better, and Doing the Right Thing – as they contribute to an internal environment of teamwork and promote a positive brand image and experience to our external customers.
