IT Services Purchasing Lead Be the driving force in our Corporate Purchasing Team!
As the IT Services Purchasing Lead, you'll redefine global category practices for IT Services, focusing on Delivery Based Services, Outsourcing, and Fix Price Projects. Maximize cost savings and procurement value by crafting and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives. Your role is pivotal in defining global category strategies, collaborating with regional Lead Buyers across APAC and NORAM LATAM.
In this role you'll 1. Execute Global Categories Take charge of sourcing projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure seamless implementation while driving compliance.
2. Define Procurement Strategy Develop and implement procurement strategies for global categories, analyzing spend baselines, assessing risks, and contributing to strategic planning.
3. Manage Vendor Relationships Classify vendors, establish governance, and implement a Vendor Management model for strategic IT Services vendors. Track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
4. Build Internal Customer Relationships Develop strong connections with stakeholders in the IT Services area, proactively identifying cost reduction opportunities, and enhancing procurement's profile within the organization.
5. Lead Category Buyers Team Manage and coordinate the team's activities, ensuring engagement, effective communication, and fostering professional development.
About the ideal candidate - Demonstrates around 5 years experience in a strategic technology procurement role within an international company or, has engineering or sales background supplemented by relevant job experience providing wide and deep insights into purchasing practice
- Possesses knowledge on Contract management tools, Sourcing tools (ideally Coupa), Virtual collaboration tools (sharepoints, etc.)
- Is proficient in English, other languages a plus
- Has expert knowledge of services, strategic Sourcing Projects management, negotiation principles/techniques and contractual legal frameworks negotiation
- Demonstrates experience leading teams/direct reports
