The Junior Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, management, and completion of a wide scope of projects. The involvement of the Junior Project manager starts after the sale is completed, usually during a kick off meeting ends once the solution or service has been delivered to the client and passes onto the operational phase.
The Junior Project Manager works closely with customers, sales, and technical team to implement project scope of work. Ensures fully scope delivery for customer satisfaction. Communicates all stages of project to relevant stakeholders as defined in Standard Operations Procedures.
Responsibilities: Lead the planning and implementation of projects.Review and implement project scopes and acceptance criteria together with technical team, involving all relevant stakeholders.Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.Managing project budget and assigned project resources.Present reports defining plans, problems and resolution to appropriate levels of management.Consult and escalate to PM or Senior PM changes in project scope, schedule and costs.Maintain effective communication and working relationship with customers and project team members.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.Lead project execution to a successful conclusions and lessons learnt.Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.Time tracking own time and resources in the projects.Assist to Kick Off Meetings.Assign tasks to Project Coordinators.Desired knowledge and skills Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managersThorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and toolsReasonable knowledge of current technologies and uses.Problem solving and decision-making techniques with a proactive "can-do" attitudeConsiderable ability to interpret technical procedures to customersProficient writing, visual design and presentation skillsExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, customers and company employeesSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeLAN networks & IT infrastructure topologies and technologyVSAT networking in marine environments knowledge is a plusRequired qualifications Lower PM certificationDesired qualificationsElectrical/Mechanical/Telecommunications Engineering Bachelor/Masters or similarMBA, PMP / PRINCE II certificationDesired attitudes Always strive for quality and extraordinary resultsExcellent communicator able to transmit and excite othersBe a positive person, able to work with others achieving a common goal.Organized and disciplined, able to work with complexity and uncertainty.Willing to add her/his views and ideas inside a diverse group that wants always to improve.Feeling accountable for the work and the results done by you and your teams being able to take responsibilities in other areas further to her/his own one.Take care of others as part of the overall OmniAccess team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
