Mission : IT Asset Governance considers all Schneider Electric's software, hardware, infrastructure, and digital information with respect to their specific influence within the Enterprise. The Global ITAG function sits within the Ethics and Compliance function of Schneider Electric. The Mission of ITAG is to enable smart & sustainable decisions on digital investments aligned with the overall Governance Strategy & bring value to the Enterprise by maximizing utilization & efficiencies while reducing costs & risks associated with IT Assets. All while securing these assets by maintaining controls and risk monitoring to enable compliance within all Schneider Electric's organizations. Additionally, ITAG maintains a specific framework for IT & Digital Compliance to defend Schneider Electric from compliance exposures and financial risks. IT Assets are all physical & logical assets considered intrinsic in value & material in nature regardless of their associated depreciation or spend currency value.
The License Audit & Compliance Lead role is a key Commercial and Compliance role in ITAG, with someone who drives and focuses on developing, progressing and closing cross-services, complex settlement and commercial audits on behalf of Schneider Electric. Driving the design and implementation of additional controls within Line of Business to ensure sustainable compliance in anticipation of any future compliance inquiries from vendors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities : Engages and partners between Publisher Compliance, Legal, Purchasing and Finance in settlement and contractual negotiation of Asset-related License agreements to ensure that SE obtains the most favorable outcome from external audit exercisesActs as the primary point of contact externally and liaison with internal stakeholders like Purchasing; Business; Legal; Finance; etc.Engage with Stakeholders to design and implement appropriate controls and monitoring to ensure negotiated contracts aligns to the Schneider Electric's strategic goals and drive additional value to the enterpriseApplies and drives the effective adoption of governance frameworks and strategic application to ensure stakeholder alignmentwhile working to resolve complex licensing issues in attainment of complianceWill ensure they have an in-depth understanding of the Publisher's business, goals, strategies and industry trends and direction prior to defining the go-forward compliance strategy.Will provide expertise in identifying, progressing, negotiating and closing commercial settlement deals while working closely with the extended Schneider team to enable success for external license auditsDemonstrates effective Project Management expertise in influencing the closure of gaps with business partners and other functional leadersDemonstrates expertise in understanding and interrupting complex license agreements, with the ability to effectively communicate the requirements to achieve compliance per our license agreementsThe License Audit and Compliance Lead serves as a global lead and demonstrates mature leadership behaviors including:o High levels of personal integrity in the conduct in professional affairs and in dealing with sensitive and confidential data relating to risk and costs

Understanding of strategic business objectives and the ability to drive results toward those objectivesActively builds internal and external relationships by establishing trust through accurate knowledge sharing, licensing guidance, and transparent engagement activities.Contributes to the team achievement of Global Publisher Compliance Services goals and objectives.Demonstratesbalanced, impartial and timely judgment when making decisions on the Publisher Compliance engagement.Will be responsible for achieving settlement results for local, international or worldwide agreements.Advocates alignment with the larger ITAG function to mitigate underlying problems with Entitlement Agreements, Deployment positions, and usage discrepancies relative to attaining contractual compliance with the respective Publishers.Requirements : Professional and fully conversant in EnglishExemplary written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work multi-functionally with all levels of internal and external stakeholdersConstantly striving to achieve a win-win outcomeStrong leadership presence with a high-motivation to meet personal, team and corporate goalsHighly-organized, self-motivated; leadership style of continuous improvement.Ability to interpret and understand complex software licensing agreements andbusiness practices and apply them to different scenariosAbility to handle multiple, concurrent priorities.Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.Licensing skills regarding system platforms (e.g. Microsoft, SAP, IBM & Oracle), client & server as well as mid-range and large environments.Excellent understanding of IT environments/ infrastructure.Experience designing and leading IT resources, budgets and return on investment analysisAbility to relate smaller concepts to the overall "big picture"Exceptional computer software skills (MS Excel/Word PowerPoint/Outlook)Work Breakdown Structure/ Status/ Metrics/ ReportingDrives Results - Sets aggressive goals and is accountable for continuously driving improved performance, leading change and ensuring high standards.Personifies a high performance / high accountability mentality, demonstrated in large, (global) matrixed initiativesContributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and partnership with a willingness to proactively coach, facilitate, share knowledge, and be the role model and advocate for a changing organizationRemains calm under pressureExperience : 8+ years of Audits & Compliance-related experience (Technology or Software Licensing Preferred)5+ years of professional licensing experience in 2 or more Tier 1 software publishers preferred3+ years in providing specialist view on contract development and delivery, terms and conditions, and contract practices3+ years in software business industry, with understanding of industry trends and directionExperience in negotiating with external suppliers, most importantly involvement in more complex transactions, ideally leading cross-brand solutionsProven success in engaging, persuading, and developing relationships with senior leaders within the organizationStrong Influencing & Negotiation experience is preferredExperience with executive-level presentationsExperience in Project Management PrinciplesExperience in Governance activities and the ongoing monitoring of potential risks and exposures Why us?
