The Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L2) is responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their Cloud infrastructure remain operational through proactively monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving cloud-based incidents, service requests and alerts.
The primary objective of this role is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical / process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA).
This role focuses on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity to ensure the smooth operation and optimisation of clients' cloud infrastructure and services.
This role may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.
Working at NTT Experience of 6-8 years with managing Linux / Virtualization / Cloud systems Installation, configuration & troubleshooting.Experience in Hyperscalars such as Azure,AWS,Google CloudExperience with configuration management tool such as puppet ,chef & Ansible is a plus.Hands on experience on Shell Scripting to automate repetitive daily Lab Operations task.Help troubleshoot problems with Linux servers, running various versions of Linux, including Red Hat, Suse,Ubuntu, CentOS, DebianHelp automate server maintenance, including running scripts and automated processesGood knowledge about the Linux File system , Kernel, RAID, boot process and Run levelsAdvanced Linux network configuration knowledge (VLAN tagging, network bridge, bonding modes), networking, IP and routing fundamentalsWell versed with Linux architectural features and applications like ssh, vsftp, nfs, http, DHCP , PXE & DNS.Experience with Vulnerability management - Analyzing scanned security reports and actioning towards their remediation .Practical knowledge of Linux server upgrades and patching activities for vulnerabilities reported.Experience with HP, Cisco, Quanta, Dell Server hardware & their maintenanceExperience in building the tools, scripts, and operating procedures for continuous improvementSkills Summary API Integration, Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Networking, Cloud Services Management, Computing, Infrastructure Deployment, Performance Optimizations, Troubleshooting
