As part of the Strategy, Incubations & Applications group led by Cisco's Chief Strategy Officer, you'll be working with some of the organization's most forward thinkers. What You'll Do In this role, you will work in an innovative team, apply and advance powerful AI technologies in products that make tangible business impacts, and create the latest AI-powered user experiences on various platforms. You will innovate with committed generative AI product management and engineering teams on the most in-demand AI domains for the future. Primary Responsibilities: Adapt various Gen AI models for quality and performance for new products Analyze data to discover patterns, design, develop, evaluate, validate, and build scalable ML models for deep learning and Generative AI products Conduct research and development into innovative AI/ML models using powerful tools and techniques, develop new algorithms and systems for reasoning and generating text, image, video, and audio. Collaborate with product managers to understand business requirements and software engineering teams to build prototypes for testing and integrate successful models and algorithms in production systems at a very large scale. Who You Are The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver who can work both independently or with a team. They are resourceful and diligent in applying new technologies and are aware of creative technical trends. They are well versed in highly dynamic enterprise environments and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, NLP, Machine Learning, or related quantitative field with 5+ years; OR Master's Degree with 3+ years; OR PhD with 0+ years of related experience Demonstrated ability with Python, Java, or related languages Prior experience with deep learning frameworks and developing, training, deploying, evaluating AI models, including real-world applications Practical experience with all phases of model development including design, development, evaluation, validation, and optimization of ML models for both supervised and unsupervised learning Understanding and prior experience in Large Language Models / Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, Computer vision, or other domain/modality Why Cisco? #WeAreCisco.
