This position also requires to provide engineering support services for field applications and research activities.Main responsibilitiesAnalyses research data and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility of product proposal with the support of the system engineer or the engineering manager.Confers with research personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop designs.Directs and coordinates manufacturing or building of prototype product or system.Plans and develops experimental test programs.Analyses test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.Evaluates engineering test results for possible application to development of systems or other uses.Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering and design tasks.Apply basic engineering and technical theory to various projects.Candidate profileQualified mechanical engineer with at least 2 years of experienceExperience in Railway or Automotive Industry is a plusAbility to write technical documentation for documenting design theory, calculations, procedures, instructions, test plans, and test reports.Ability to comprehend and apply principles of calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory
