For more information on GTT, please visit .Role Summary :We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Network Security Architect to join our dynamic Core network engineering team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network security infrastructure.The Network Security Architect will play a critical role in safeguarding our systems and data against potential threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.Duties and Responsibilities :Network Security Design :- Develop and implement comprehensive network security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, VPNs, NetFlow and other security technologies.- Design and deploy security solutions to protect against advanced threats and vulnerabilities.Security Policy and Compliance :Define and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational requirements.Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.Incident Response and Investigation :- Lead incident response activities in the event of a security breach, coordinating with cross-functional teams to contain and mitigate the impact.- Conduct post-incident analysis and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.Collaboration and Communication :- Work closely with other IT teams, including network, systems, and application teams, to integrate security measures into overall IT architecture.- Communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Emerging Technologies and Threat Landscape :- Stay abreast of the latest security technologies, industry trends, and threat intelligence to proactively identify and address emerging risks.- Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.Required Experience / Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience as a Network Security Architect or in a similar role.Deep understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security principles.Hands-on experience with firewall, VPN, IDS / IPS, and other security technologies
