You will provide support to the wider business by ensuring that all purchasing activities align with corporate policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Purchasing materials on behalf of the Business according to the required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms. Initiating purchase orders according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures. Recurrent follow-up of suppliers in a structured way in order to assure the fulfillment. Supporting the bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information. Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues. Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price. Your background: Wide experience over six years working as a buyer/procurement technician with transformer components. Demonstrated experience working with SAP4Hana A good command of English will be required. Willingness to travel is valued. A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication and negotiation skills.
