If the answer is YES, welcome to Exoticca!Exoticca is a company that started in 2013 by professionals specialized in the creation and online distribution of trips.Our mission is to offer our clients the possibility to visit the most beautiful and stimulating places on our planet, though the best holiday packages, at unbelievable prices.We are a highly ambitious and well-funded start-up, backed by top national and international investors that have also participated in the growth of other success stories, such as Glovo, or Idealista, among others.At Exoticca we are looking for people who want to offer their best to create unforgettable experiences for our customers.We are a young, dynamic, multicultural team in rapid international growth, seeking for new partners to help us create the best and most forward-thinking travel company of our generation.What do we do?Exoticca's product team, we are a young and dynamic team, and we want to build and scale Exoticca's flight product, acquiring data management capabilities, to enable and facilitate Exoticca to become the industry leader in the whole operational markets, by reaching all commercial and sales targets.What will be your main responsibilities?- Identify meaningful data sources, structure, normalise and automate collection processes.- Ability to convert and present complex numbers into telling and meaningful stories.- Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data.- Analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.- Building models including trends, using tools like Looker and Excel.- Combine models through ensemble modeling.- Present information using data visualization techniques and tolls like Looker and Excel.- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.- Collaborate with internal data team and product development teams.Requirements- Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills and have experience working with customers across several departments.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities and business acumen.- Ability to break down and understand complex business problems, define a solution, and implement it using advanced quantitative methods.- Solid oral and written communication skills, especially around analytical concepts and methods.- Ideal candidate should have a Graduate Degree in a technical field (e.g., mathematics, economics, engineering, statistics, etc.).- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker...).- Experience and ability to take ideas / discussions and convert them into clear context, action and result.- Autonomous, structured and organized,- Skills with data collection, normalise and structure data for analysis; ideally Looker and SQL.- A must is solid expertise in excel (modeling and formulas apart from pivot tables and graphs.- A plus is having experience and having dealt with this topics in relation to the travel industry, for example, Airlines, Hotel company, Car rental company.Benefits- Competitive compensation package in line with job responsibilities and experience.- Additionally, we propose the use of flexible compensation management for diet, transportation, private health insurance wit Cobee.- Hybrid work model : Offices in the heart of Barcelona (right next to Plaça Catalunya).- Permanent contract from the start.- Travel packages at reduced prices as perk for employees!- Unlimited coffee, language lessons, quarterly teamwork activities, global biannual parties.- And last but not least, becoming part of a fun and motivated multicultural team at an agile and rapid growing organization!Exoticca is an equal opportunity employer.
