Our team in EMEA currently has an opening for a Product Manager Synthesis & Biopharma (EMEA).This role can be located anywhere in Europe.YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESOur Brenntag Pharma EMEA division buildsthe link between Raw Material suppliers and Medicinal Product Producers andmanages the Distribution of APIs, Excipients, Intermediates, as well as Basechemicals with Value-Added Services.We serve the market with our entrepreneurial mindset & vision at thehighest quality standard. We actively listen to our partners needs and addvalue with our customised solutions, acting as a one-stop-shop for thepharmaceutical industry.You will be part of the Pharma EMEA Industry Market Management team and workclosely together with our Sales and Pharma Services team across EMEA region.Your main responsibilities will be to support the strategic development of theportfolio of API synthesis and Biopharma, conducting strategic sourcing,managing key suppliers and product basket of the segment.You will play animportant role in supporting the team, the sales structure and in providingguidance for the Pharma industry based on thorough and up to date market knowhow.Join our highly motivated Team and engage yourself in creating values for ourPharma customers and suppliers and be part of our our Global Strategy to win.Support the development ofEMEA-wide Synthesis & Biopharma strategy and product portfolioStrategic sourcing activities to support the IMM team activities andbusiness development with salesBuild value adding key supplier relationships (incl. supplierselection, sourcing, and product management price negotiation, GP marginoptimisation, stock inventory management)Develop marketing and business positioning campaigns together with themarketing team and execute themBuild Technical & Commercial support for sales and product managers(Product information, Newsletter, Training) on new products, suppliers, andapplicationsIdentify market trends in the API synthesis and Biopharma sector thathold business potentialMarket analysis to strategically fill white spotsDevelop market know-how to drive strategies for Synthesis &Biopharma field, in line with global strategyDefine the themes, priorities and focus areas for exhibitions andparticipate in regional trade fair activitiesParticipate in joint visits with customersYOUR PROFILEYourProfile :University degree in Science (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, PharmaceuticalSciences, Chemistry or related disciplines)Multiple years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Chemical Distribution orrelated fields is essentialExperience in Product Management or strong network and relationship buildingcapability with suppliers will be valuedExperience in sourcing or procurement activities is a plusStrong product and market knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry and it'srequirementsSolid presentation skills and fluency in English, both written and verbalSound computer skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP,CRMAvailability to travel internationally as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
