We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer, who actively work on increasing our platform availability, resilience and reliability.
This person should understand the service operation, business processes and the software and network architecture of the IoT integration platform, in order to identify problems between services, signal events, communications, etc. and provide continuous improvement measures and implementations to increase service availability, reduce MTTR and increase automation to avoid manual errors through all the delivery pipeline and operational activities.
Finally, it is needed to collaborate as a security level in the N2 guards in case of complex go live events or critical incidents.
Among your tasks and responsibilities, you will have to: Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software.Automate and manage development, pre-release and production environments. Create and enhance scripts, collaborate on legacy systems migration, etc.Enhance observability: Implement and maintain monitoring and logging systems to ensure availability and optimal performance of business processes, applications and services.Identify and resolve infrastructure and performance issues and make proactive improvements to the platform.Collaborate in the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes for the different M2M team projects.Monitor the processes of transition to production and collaborate in the improvement and automation of these processes.Follow-up and resolution of incidents in production systems.To feel comfortable in the position, you need to be able to get along well with: Previous experience of 3/5 years in systems operation is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in high pressure environments.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles.
Experience managing production and pre-production environments based on hybrid On Premise and Cloud environments.
Knowledge of virtualization and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes.
Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and server administration.
Working knowledge of scripting and automation using tools such as Bash, Python or Java.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, among others.
Basic networking knowledge (NAT, addressing, BIGIP – Load Balancers, etc).
Intermediate level of English (B2).
