This Coordinator supervises all scaffolding activities on Site and ensures compliance with schedule, quality and HSE requirements, and: Supervise construction-related scaffold work activities. Inspect scaffold holding for compliance to project, local and industry standards. Maintain schedule and cost control within assigned field functions of the project. Plan and monitor required work activities to ensure that design drawings, tools, equipment, materials are available. Read and understand drawings, plans and specifications related to scaffolding and ensure that safe working conditions are maintained in all the scaffolding on Site. Introduce and maintain a scaffold inspection system comprising weekly checks of all erected scaffold. Participate in audits, inspections and safety observations tours. Coordinates the activities of contractors performing work within a discipline. Ensures that scaffold inspectors are erectors are trained and knowledgeable of specifications and work procedures.
