How you will make an impact : Design solutions for Windchill business data model configuration and customization with Info*Engine components, web services, business rules. and UI.
Utilize your hands-on experience and working knowledge in configuration extensions and customizations using Windchill modules PDMLink, PartsLink, Windchill Quality Management System (QMS), Regulatory Hub, UDI and ThingWorx to design and implement PLM business solutions.
Lead project development teams through execution of best practices in software development, mentor other team members, and ensure project deliverables are consistent with architecture, quality, security policies.
Lead efforts to determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Stay informed about technical innovation by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment;
participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations.
Achieve business and technical objectives and schedule by designing, coding, implementing, testing, and supporting technical application solutions.
Coordinate and execute unit and system level automated and or manual test plans and documentation of results.
Support integration of data from PLM to external regulatory agencies (FDA GUDID, EUDAMED etc.).
Support integration of data from PLM to ERP, SQMS and MDM, working closely with other enterprise systems and business stakeholders.
Translate PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) business requirements into functional, technical requirements, solution design, and development.
Partner with the team of internal PLM Functional and Technical architects to configure / customize the Windchill PLM system as per business & functional requirements.
Mentor developers and consultants on designing and implementing the better solution working around the technical feasibility.
Effort estimation of user stories, providing demonstrations for implementation.
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code on complex issues.
Determine and lead the design of system specifications, standards, and programming.
Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommend changes and formulate alternative solutions in policies and procedures.
What you'll need (Required) : Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field + 5 years of solid performance in a role working with cross-functional teams (within IT and / or within the business) on enterprise-level or complex / novel system implementations.
What else we look for (Preferred) : 5 -7 years of related working experience on PTC Windchill v12.0.1 or above and it's supporting applications installation, administration, configurations, and customization.
Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill core modules PDMLink, PartsLink and Windchill Quality Management System (QMS) configuration and customizations.
Should have a good understanding of Windchill Architecture, database, setting up change management workflows, user management, Windchill Quality Management System (QMS) and Regulatory Hub.
Experience implementing DHF and DMR functionality using Windchill QMS and Med Device Template.
Good understanding of Regulatory Submission processes (PMA, 510K, CE Mark etc.) for Med Device industry.
Hands-on experience with CAD Data Management (Creo, SolidWorks and Altium) and integrations
Understanding of design structures, product structure, product configuration, and manufacturing processes.
Hands-on customization experience using Windchill / Java Client Architecture (WCA / JCA).
Experience in a multi workstream development environment using DevOps CI / CD tools and methodologies. Knowledge in GitLab.
Experience with Windchill Bulk migrator to stage & migrate data.
PTC ThingWorx Implementation knowledge
PTC Windchill certifications Relevant industry experience (e.g., medical device, pharmaceuticals, etc.) or in highly regulated environments
Technical Skills : Java, JSP, Java Script, XML, JSON, SQL, PL / SQL, Info*Engine Web Services, SOAP / RESTful Web Services, Ajax, Database tuning, Git.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Need to be able to clearly communicate expectations to the team as well as report on progress in a clear and concise manner.
Establishes effective working relationships in a team environment and works independently to meet the project deliverables.
Solid analytical skills and a strong attention to detail Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities.
Substantial troubleshooting / debugging skills. Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence / control.
