Want to be a part of our team?The Sr. HR Business Partner is both a strategic and hands on role that provides HR support to the global business groups by embedding corporate HR strategy into day-to-day work and providing professional HR guidance with the objective of driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The Sr. HR Business Partner will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the Global Data Center organization, and will interact regularly with global leaders. Regular, predictable attendance is essential for satisfactory performance.Working at NTTESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESUnderstand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.Provide strategic advice and planning to the global business leaders regarding organization structure, strategy, training, and programsProvide support to the SVP of Human Resources, as needed, on global HR issues, projects, presentations and initiativesSupport management in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with the function or business strategy.Provide briefing and presentations regarding HR issues impacting each business function, including attrition, retention, recruiting, engagement and trainingReview key business performance targets and their related talent implications with business leaders.Assist business unit leaders in providing employees with development opportunities that align with current and future performance standards.A true hands-on approach to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagementProvide expert advice and coaching to employees when appropriate.Understand and solicit employee and business leads opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns.Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve HR policies and initiatives.Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across functions and within HR to facilitate continuous improvement.Act as a liaison between employees, business leads and HR to ensure that HR services are aligned with internal client needs.Identify new opportunities for HR to add value to the business.Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends.Performs other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESAble to be highly confidentialAbility and desire to interface at all levels of the organizationClear, comprehensive understanding of the link between talent and other HR initiatives and business strategyAbility to develop clear, actionable steps in support of an overall business strategyAbility to identify new ways for HR to support the business strategyAbility to recognize trends and develop recommendations based on data analysisAbility to engage, inspire, and influence peopleAbility to develop and deliver relevant, effective training programs to targeted audiencesSuccess in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programsExperience with a rapidly changing and complex work environmentEffective team player and networkerStrong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skillsSignificant knowledge of HR policies, processes (e.g., workforce planning and talent management), systems and talent management practicesProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point and Outlook; other systems skills a plus.Manages stress and/or fast-pace effectively.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in business administration, HR management, or related field or equivalent work and/or education requiredSPHR or SHRM certification preferredMinimum 8-10 years' of relevant Human Resources experience, with 3 years in a management, generalist, or business partner capacityMay require specific experience supporting Corporate functions business groupsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSPrimarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.Able to hear and speak into a telephone.Close visual work on a computer terminal.Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbsRemain stationary for long periods of timeOperate computer, peripherals, and other office equipmentWORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTSWork across multiple global time zones (including but not limited to India, Europe, South Africa, US, Japan) is required for this position which will require work outside of normal work hoursExtensive daily usage of workstation or computer.This role is expected to be remote with an occasional need to be on-site in a shared space, and with the possibility of global travel several times a year.Must satisfactorily pass company-required background check process.#GlobalDataCentersCareersThis is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity.
