Location: Madrid or remoteWe are currently looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist (f/m/d). This role is focused on implementing procurement processes to identify addressable spend to deliver both savings and strong relationships with new and existing vendors. It is a highly visible role with a significant focus on business partnering and execution. The role holder will own strategic categories/business units to drive improvements in products and services for the best prices and terms.YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:Together with internal stakeholders you will define the purchasing roadmap of your spend categories, supporting both ad-hoc spend > 25K as well as significant contracts with key vendors 0.5 - 5M You will work alongside other Procurement Specialists covering a diverse range of categories that will include:Marketing (specifically Digital & Offline Media)Tech (SaaS, Infrastructure, Hardware & Licensing)Professional Services & Human ResourcesReal Estate (Property, Facilities & Services)You will negotiate beyond the basic negotiation practices to deliver maximum value for FREENOW, also in very difficult negotiation positionsYou will analyse the current and future spending as well as the current purchasing proceduresYou will establish and maintain positive relationships with key strategic suppliersYou will represent FREENOW in supplier negotiationsAs a service provider for the whole group you will gain cross-functional trust and respect, and will build expertise for strategic categories You will identify and drive improvement initiatives aiming to optimise costs while ensuring best quality servicesYou will ensure that the procurement process is followed consistentlyYou will help to design and implement a purchasing systemTO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:You should have a consolidating and reliable character, highly self-motivated, who thrives in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment. You are offering both an understanding of numbers and people.
