As a Senior Product Portfolio Manager, You will develop and implement a comprehensive portfolio management system to enhance visibility across projects and programs, facilitating effective resource allocation, risk management, and informed decision-making leveraging real-time data insights.
What You'll Do: Drive Operational Excellence: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive portfolio management system aimed at enhancing visibility across projects and programs. Through meticulous planning and execution, ensure efficient resource allocation, risk management, and informed decision-making leveraging real-time data insights.
Foster Collaboration and Alignment: Forge strong partnerships with leaders in Product, Engineering, and Data to strategically manage product portfolio priorities, dependencies, and risks. Ensure alignment with company goals and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to secure delivery alignment with business objectives.
Champion Operational Frameworks: Seamlessly incorporate the OKR framework into our daily operations, ensuring it becomes ingrained in our organizational culture. Provide guidance and support to teams in the development and execution of their roadmaps, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Promote Transparency and Consistency: Ensure portfolio priorities are transparent and understood across teams, promoting uniform criteria for project and program prioritization. Standardize planning and operational processes company-wide to maintain consistency, efficiency, and organizational transparency.
Lead Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement and automation initiatives by identifying opportunities and leveraging technology and best practices to simplify procedures. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, enabling operational efficiency and driving business growth.
Enable Stakeholder Success: Serve as a primary contact for stakeholders, providing support, guidance, and escalation management as needed to address portfolio challenges. Monitor the overall health of the portfolio through key metrics and data, and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks.
What You'll Need: Experience and Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in a similar or related role, with proven expertise in portfolio management and strategic planning.
Strategic Mindset: Deep knowledge of portfolio management tools and methodologies, with experience in driving decision-making and aligning priorities with overarching business objectives.
Collaborative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels, driving the agenda and fostering collaboration towards common goals.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely.
