Solicitor/ Chartered Legal Executive - Complex PropertyJob Introduction The "Complex Property" team is part of the wider "Property" service line, which in turn sits within the firm's "Claims Solutions Group". The team acts for a large number of insurer clients, undertaking some of their highest value, highest profile and most challenging work.
The work falls into three broad categories: (i) subrogated recovery claims (typically over £300,000); (ii) defendant public liability property damage claims; and (iii) policy coverage disputes (some of which is advisory work). In short, the team deals with all manner of disputes and problems arising out of fires, floods, storms, escapes of water, escapes of oil, explosions, impact damage (basically any way in which a property might become damaged).
