Mission:The main mission of the Airworthiness Technical Engineer in the role of Structure Designated Airworthiness Engineer (DAE) is to manage the Airworthiness Technical activities for structure technical disciplines (static strength, fatigue, loads, etc ) with Aviation Authorities' structure specialists/ experts for Type Certification, Supplemental Type Certification and Changes to TC; leading the certification panels and ensuring coordination with CVEs.This also includes exercise the DAE role for individual and generic repair processes.Functions and Tasks:Provide Airworthiness Technical support for the programme certification and individual & generic repairs activities regarding Technical Airworthiness matters for the structure technical disciplines; Provide airworthiness approvals and exercise DOA/MDOA privileges for the scope of assigned responsibility as delegated by the Chief of the Office of Airworthiness; Support the timely achievement of certification milestones through identification of Major program technical issues and associated risk management plan, identification of regulation and interpretation issues and identification of Safety and Certification Compliance Issues; Support the necessary activities for the investigation of incidents and accidents for those aspects regarding Airworthiness Technical knowledge; Provide expertise in Airworthiness Technical to the design organization, including FAR 26/PART 26 topics or special projects; Represent Airbus DSin rulemaking and international industrial standardization working groups for Airworthiness Technical; coordinate with AC and AH Airworthiness Technical Organisations; Contribute to Airbus DS Research and Technology (R&T) projects related to the Airworthiness Technical; Develop specializedtraining to the overall Design Organization on Airworthiness Technical matters; Others:Be part of the trans-functional and trans-national projects; Proven experience in Airworthiness functions related to structure discipline (experience interfacing with the Aviation Authorities, will be a plus for the position); Good knowledge of Spanish language will be a plus for the position; Good level of English (written and oral) is required.This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.Company:Airbus Defence and Space SAU#J-18808-Ljbffr
