McCann Worldgroup seeks an Account Supervisor tto be responsible for the relationship between the agency and day-to-day clients, providing strategic guidance to clients, managing the account team's performance, and cultivating strong client relationships to encourage new and repeat business. The Account Supervisor demonstrates thinking across the client's line of business and not just on their teams' assigned projects. They act as a trusted advisor and partner to the client. The Account Supervisor has expert marketing skills, the ability to anticipate needs is an experienced executor, and can confidently express and author informed opinions.

Be responsible for initiating, deepening, and extending senior-level client relationships, resulting in account growth, stability, and reduced risk of loss. Accountable for the quality of agency presentation to their clients, including proposal documents, and ensuring all work is sold most effectively.

What You Will Do:
The Account Supervisor, for McCann Barcelon, will be required to:
Support the business in leveraging your expertise to navigate the public sector's complexities and nuances to create breakthrough communications. Understand the fast-paced nature of business and positively respond to last-minute client requests. Assists the Strategy and Creative teams to write clear, powerful, insight-driven creative briefs, presentations, and other strategic documents. Guide the team and collaborate across the agency to drive magical creativity and innovation. Oversees administration and execution of numerous projects at the same time. Ensure that the company, in every area, delivers the best possible product, firmly grounded in a thoughtful, strategically sound understanding of the clients' business, the account's long-term direction, and the tasks at hand. Partner with Strategy teams to identify key insights and monitor campaign performance. Also, create test plans, strategies, and recommendations for your channels of business. Build client's confidence by knowing the objective and status of every client-related activity, even those that have been delegated. Able to expertly communicate challenging news to clients in a manner that minimizes negative impact on the agency. Identify opportunities when in client conversations and act on them to add value to the client or company. Keep client and the Account Director updated on the status of account activities. Elevate issues and opportunities as required. Master a strong knowledge of the client's products, branding, and style guide. Nourish and safeguard the client relationship, maintain contact, and build rapport at as many levels of the organization as possible. Advance the team's professional development, monitor the work, be a readily accessible resource, and provide regular, timely performance reviews and guidance. Demonstrate strong collaboration, communication skills, respect, and professionalism in all interactions. Embrace and demonstrate McCann Worldgroup's culture and vision. Maintain knowledge of competitive trends within the category and recognize and address barriers to acquisition. Drive thought leadership and strategic deliverables for the brand's future and identify great creative ideas in their infancy. Liaise with teams across the agency, including Creative, Strategy, and Production, to ensure campaigns and delivered. Support junior members of the team, providing coaching to aid their development. Who You Will Be:
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable previous relevant experiences and skills with the following:
Key Skills:
Problem Solving – Identify problems and provide information and data necessary to generate solutions. Business Relationship Management – Closely track any changes in the client's business. Build and deliver best-in-class business solutions over time to establish effective relationships. Strategic Thinking – Build expertise with proprietary strategic tools (5Cs, Relationship Mapping, etc.) to effectively partner to create inspiring briefs. Creative Thinking – Relentlessly drive creativity by generating business angles and ways into the client that are unexpected and insight-driven. Influence & Negotiation – Respond effectively to the positions of others and create milestones and symbols that rally support. Financial Acumen – Manage the day-to-day financials of the account to ensure client and agency are on budget and updated frequently. Other Characteristics of an MW Account Supervisor:
· Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a client service role in an agency. · Bachelor's degree in a relevant area required. · The ideal applicant would have been involved in multiple integrated campaigns. · Continually drive for results and highest quality standards. · Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. · Experienced people manager, demonstrating strong mentoring abilities. · Highly developed organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to ensure projects are managed effectively. · Demonstrated strategic thinker with the ability to lead a business. · Solid understanding of business and the current marketplace. · Ability to design and deliver a presentation with a creative flair. #LI-MG4 McCann Worldgroup's Values:
