Structured as a matrix organization of six geographical regions and ten platforms, Louis Dreyfus Company is active in over 100 countries and employs approximately 17,000 people globally.Job DescriptionReported to the Market Risk Manager for coffee and sugar and the Risk Processes Manager for all the platforms/functions, you will:Be in charge of producing, analyzing, reporting, and improving positions, risk metrics, and PnL analysisBe a leading role in designing, implementing, and automating the risk reports and processes, with emphasis on process and tool improvementWork on the re-architecting of the processes for Risks, emphasizing automation and analyticsMain Responsibilities:- From a market point of view:- Collaborate closely with platforms and middle office to understand position and price movements- Support risk manager in building key market risk indicators- Is interested and willing to learn/understand market movements and its drivers while staying updated about relevant markets and news- From a process improvement standpoint:- Work closely with the risk process to improve practices- Envisions and creates analytics to support risk analysis and reporting, including data visualization and dashboards- Design and implement improvements to the functionality of the Risk systems, providing analysis tools and reporting- Assist with the automation of data integration and reporting tasksExperienceYour profile:University degree in Business administration/Accounting/Finance5+ years of relevant working experienceKnowledge of agri- commoditiesProven track record on project implementationProgramming ability in Excel and PowerBIExperience in coding Excel Macros and PowerBi/Analyze in Excel; SAS is a plusBeing able to lead system improvement projects from the analysis to the executionBeing able to interact with different internal counterparties and officesBe willing to learn Market Risk methodologies and expand their knowledge on the subject mattersYou are a proactive person, with an analytical mind, with good communications skillsYou have solid skills at negotiating solutions, and you enjoy driving improvementAdditional InformationWhat We OfferWe provide a dynamic and stimulating international environment, which will stretch and develop your abilities and channel your skills and expertise with outstanding career development opportunities in one of the largest and most solid private companies in the world
