ROLE SUMMARY:Boarding and Marketing Intern This role is available to university students seeking a placement or a postgraduate student. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Role description: This role is open for individuals seeking to develop their marketing skills within an educational sector and work within an international boarding house in the South of Spain. Candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside an international staff and student body, developing their leadership skills. Boarding: The candidate will help to provide for the safety, good discipline and pastoral well-being of all students in the boarding community. The successful applicant will be an energetic, enthusiastic person who enjoys living and working within an international community. The candidate will be student-centred and have the ability to be authoritative, when necessary. The duties themselves will comprise two evening duties, one breakfast duty and one weekend duty per week. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the extra-curricular activities, fixtures and events. They will become a fully involved member of the boarding house and school. Marketing Side: The candidate will assist the school's marketing team for four days a week, creating content for the school and the boarding house that can be placed on our social media sites. This would require graphic design skills, editing skills and an in-depth knowledge of social media usage. The candidate would have to coordinate with multiple departments so that content could be created suiting all of the different needs they have. The candidate would work closely with the Head of School and Boarding. Living arrangements: Board and lodging is provided for the duration of the year, with food included during school term-time. The accommodation provided is an ensuite room. The school offers up to €500 towards transport costs and will cover all visa requirements.
