Captain

We are looking for an experienced Sailing Yacht Captain for a 40m+ SY with a true passion for sailing.Our ideal candidate is organized and efficient, good with juggling a lot if things at the same time, a great communicator, with excellent problem-solving skills, detail oriented, driven and is able to build and train a fantastic team.Experienced and adventurous owners, happy to take their yacht off the beaten track but also equally happy to dock in big cities that allows exploration, so this role is not for the faint hearted, we need a hardworking and enthusiastic candidate that loves to create and provide great experiences for the guest and owners.The leaving captain has worked for the owner for a long time, so crew retention is HIGH...The owner loves sailing so our captain must be a keen sailor.This position could be coupled with another position onboard.Job Title: CaptainContract: Permanent - Non RotationalStarting date: ASAP for a Captain-Captain handover.About the program: Every other year she does dual season and every other year she winters in Palma.Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, Master 500 minimum.Requirements for application: 5+ years as Captain of 40m+ yachts, Good verifiable references.Additional InformationPreference given to those already within Europe/U.K.Ideally the owner would like a face to face interview.Interested?
