About Us Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. Utilities around the world rely on our nuclear fuel products to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco's corporate office is based in Saskatoon. We have mining operations and projects in northern Saskatchewan, Kazakhstan, the United States and Australia. We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.  
The Role As a member of the technical services team, you will report to the Director, Development in the Saskatoon office. You will be responsible for leadership and quality execution of Cameco projects to ensure company goals and business objectives are achieved.  
In this role, you will:  Directly manage and oversee the successful execution of complex studies / projects of elevated strategic importance to ensure safety, quality, timeliness and profitability  Develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and ensure appropriate utilization to bring value and innovation to studies Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with management, operations, team members, and other key stakeholders Ensure that study and project risks are adequately addressed and communicated to the leadership team.  Required:  A minimum of 10 years of combined work experience in progressive project management roles in a manufacturing, mining, or industrial setting  Diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered Ability to think creatively, facilitate solutions, and achieve results  thrive in a in dynamic environment, build trust, and maintain positive relationships with a wide variety of personnel  
  Recommended:  PMP, trade certification, and/or professional engineering designation, or the ability to obtain the relevant certification  Experience in executing all stages of the project lifecycle (i.e. initiation, planning and estimating, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, monitoring & controlling, etc.) to deliver brownfield industrial projects  Experience working in operations at an industrial facility  Experience with modern digital project tools and LEAN methodologies  Cameco is proud to offer a competitive total reward package which includes: Competitive compensation program with base and variable pay  Flexible health, drug, dental, and vision plan with a health spending and personal spending account  Fixed benefits including employee and dependant life, AD&D, disability benefits and paid vacation leave  Employee & Family Assistance Programs  RRSP and RPP matching program  Relocation costs Cameco is an employment equity employer and aims to achieve gender parity, and as such, preference will be given to qualified members of equity groups. You will have the opportunity to work remote in this position. However, there may be the need for intermittent meetings in the Saskatoon office/travel to site. The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process.
