The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process.In this role, you will:As a member of the Strategic Sourcing team, you will work closely with category managers, contracts administrators, procurement, and site stakeholder teams to create contracts for high risk and/or high value operational spend, while ensuring the contract development process and procedures are effectively executedCollaborate with end users to determine contracting type and strategy, developing and initiating requests for proposals, evaluating proposals, completing award recommendations, contract conformance and execution in compliance with Cameco's policies, standards and codes.Additional responsibilities include liaising with internal legal counsel.responsible for the coaching and mentoring of staff on the best practices, work processes and performance expectations set for the team.You will play a lead role in the development and updating of process, procedures, work instructions, flow diagrams etc. for various contract development functions
