Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain infrastructure in public clouds• Provide support to production team and cross-functional services• Automate administration tasks and incident responses• Ensure security and reliability best practices• Improve existing infrastructure and implement auto-healing and auto-scaling• Collaborate with product owners to define future releases• Monitor KPI/KRI and develop automated plans and responses• Manage multidisciplinary database team• Experience with various database technologies• Fluency in English
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role• Degree in computer engineering or related field• Experience in database administration and performance analysis• Experience in HA/DR configuration• Experience with backup and recovery tools• Experience with monitoring tools• Experience with automation using Ansible• Scripting skills with Shell Script/PowerShell• Experience with public cloud environments• Knowledge of Python and PhP (desirable)• Understanding of agile methodologies
Key Skills Needed
• Database administration (PostgreSql, DB2 LUW, MongoDB, SqlServer, MySql)• Capacity and performance analysis• HA/DR configuration• Backup and recovery tools (NetBackup, Avamar, DDBoost)• Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, CA, etc.)• Automation with Ansible• Scripting with Shell Script/PowerShell• Public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.)• Fluency in English• Python and PhP (desirable)• Understanding of agile methodologies
