Beckman Coulter Diagnostics Field Technical Support provides excellent support to our customers while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospitals and stand-alone laboratory environments. You'll be the face of Beckman Coulter to customers and support them, directly impacting patient health and overall well-being. As a Field Technical Support team member, you will be part of the Customer Care Organization and work with the Regional Manager. Provide frontline support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting. You will help drive revenue growth while ensuring strong customer contract retention rates and warranty conversion. Apply critical thinking to resolve instrumentation performance issues, train our customers and verify the operational performance and data quality of systems. You'll be a key member to help drive customer satisfaction and retention. The Field Technical Support operates independently within their geographic territory, however we operate as a team to share standard methodologies, mentor, and receive expert technical support. You'll be classified as a remote worker and be provided with a company car, mobile phone and laptop. You will be required to travel within the region to support customers using your technical expertise with overnight stays as needed. You'll partner with the customer not only on technical issues, but how to maximize the instrument's usage. · Develop your project management skills in the context of installation projects. · Provide excellent and efficient support to Beckman Coulter's customers, along with technical training · Accompany the digital transformation and contribute your IT knowledge to installation projects and internal projects · Maintain customer support logs and internal records in a timely manner, ordering parts and adhering to cycle times · Work closely with our sales and office staff, provide consultancy to our customers on preventive maintenance, service contracts and equipment solutions · Develop critical approach supported by DBS tools Requirements of the job include: · University degree (technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) and 8 years experience in IVD. · Fluent in Spanish and English · Good IT knowledge - familiar with IT infrastructure: enjoy setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: · diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, and/or electronic medical equipment, IT repair experience in laboratory, as a Field Service Engineer or Biomedical Engineer.
