.Finance Director, Supply Chain and OperationsFinance Director, Supply Chain and Operations Email Talent Acquisition and Development Business Partner en EFIEFI is looking for a Finance Director to lead globally the Supply Chain and Operations Finantial area. This role could be located at one of our key European manufacturing locations in Valencia, Spain or Bergamo, Italy.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Lead the development of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the supply chain function. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and optimization of working capital/inventory.Cost Management: Work closely with supply chain leaders to analyze and manage costs throughout the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining quality and service levels.Supplier Relationship Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to assess supplier performance and negotiate favorable terms and contracts. Evaluate supplier financial health and mitigate supply chain risks.Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels and working capital utilization across the supply chain. Develop strategies to minimize excess inventory, improve inventory turnover, and enhance cash flow.Logistics and Distribution Finance: Partner with logistics and distribution teams to optimize transportation costs, warehouse operations, and distribution networks. Analyze transportation routes, carrier contracts, and freight costs to drive efficiency.Capital Expenditure Planning: Manage capital expenditure budgeting and investment decisions related to supply chain infrastructure, equipment, and technology. Evaluate ROI and financial impact of capital projects.Financial Reporting and Metrics: Oversee the preparation of financial reports, KPIs, and performance metrics for the supply chain function. Monitor key financial indicators and provide insights to senior management. Ensure delivery of reporting in line with Corporate deadlines.Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline supply chain processes, enhance productivity, and reduce costs. Implement best practices and leverage technology solutions to drive efficiency.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and corporate policies. Identify and mitigate financial risks within the supply chain, including currency fluctuations, commodity prices, and geopolitical factors.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.8-10+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on supply chain finance, operations finance, or related field.Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, cost accounting, logistics, and procurement processes. Experience in lean and continuous improvement highly preferred
