GoodNews was born in Barcelona in 2020 (during Covid-19), with the purpose of bringing back good vibes and reinventing traditional newsstands as meeting points. At this moment, we are looking for an HR Generalist to join our People department, with a special focus on the markets of France and the Netherlands. TAREAS A REALIZAR Manage hiring processes, from job postings to selection and hiring of new employees. Prepare employment contracts, welcome documents, and other employment-related paperwork. Daily operational and administrative management of personnel: contract changes, document management, timekeeping, payroll processing, etc. Address workers' labor inquiries, manage labor relations, and resolve conflicts. Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations in France and the Netherlands, advising management on compliance matters and proposing necessary adjustments to HR policies and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness. Participate in the development and implementation of projects and new procedures in the People area. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in HR, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Law, or related field. Previous HR experience preferred, preferably in the hospitality and/or retail sector. Advanced level of English, both spoken and written. Advanced level of French is a plus, both spoken and written. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team.
