The Functional Printing & Embedded Devices UnitThe Functional Printing & Embedded Devices Unit develops innovative solutions based on functional materials and devices. This Unit has the knowledge and experience to contribute from research concepts to prototyping and manufacturing. The Unit can cover the entire TRL chain, from the conceptualization of the idea to prototype validation, including design, proof of concept, material analysis, processes, prototyping, and characterization. The specialization areas of the Unit include the formulation of functional inks, printing and coating processes for lightweight and flexible devices, their characterization, and in terms of electronics, the design, development, and manufacturing of conventional PCB electronics and hybrid electronics.Roles and ResponsibilitiesC/C++ programming:Microcontrollers used in embedded systems, such as: STM32, Nordic Semiconductors, Microchip, Espressif or Texas Instruments.Hardware design, manufacturing, and assembly of multilayer electronic boards (schematics and PCB layout) on rigid or flexible substrates.Data acquisition of different types of sensors, control electronics for other systems, and electronics for wireless communications.Characterization and quality lab measurements within the Unit.Close collaboration with other technical and/or business departments.RequirementsEssential:Degree (or finishing) in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunications.Experience in hardware development and prototyping.Knowledge in C/C++ programming.Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.Desirable:Experience in developing software applications for testing on mobile devices (Android) and desktop (Windows).Experience in layout PCB electronic design.EURECAT OFFERS YOUBenefits:Permanent contractHybrid work (home office/work in the office)Flexible scheduleHolidays: 27 working daysFlexible remuneration package (health insurance, transport, lunch, studies - training, kindergarten, and car renting)Eurecat employees can join the Eurecat Academy courseshttps://eurecatacademy.org/Eurecat employees can attend our weekly thematic sessions to be aware of Eurecat areas of knowledge.Language courses (English, Catalan, and Spanish)#J-18808-Ljbffr
