OESD provides critical support to refining and chemical facilities within Global Manufacturing.As an LP Engineer, your role involves developing, updating, and running LP models, conducting rigorous simulations and back casting, evaluating projects and opportunities from both technical and economic perspectives, and offering technical advisory support to refinery management and staff.This position is instrumental in optimizing crude allocation and refining operations to maximize revenue, increase profitability, and capture international market opportunities. Additionally, you'll support the LP gatekeeper for wholly owned refineries and the global MPIMS model, contributing to an integrated global planning model for exploring new markets and integration options.Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred. +17 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, refining & petrochemical sector (LP modeling, optimization, and economics). Proficiency in PIMS and Aspen HYSYS software, as well as other relevant tools and standards. Demonstrate excellent technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. You should be able to apply your knowledge and skills to various LP and optimization issues and scenarios, and communicate effectively and persuasively with different stakeholders and audiences.
