RESPONSIBILITIES In our business unit Nutrition and Health, we have been producing and selling feed additives such as Vitamins and Carotenoids (V&C) on a global scale for over 50 years.
You will be responsible for the Technical Sales and New Business Development of these products of the GBU Nutrition Ingredients in EMEA and closely work with Sales, Technical and R&D peers to support the V&C sales organization.
The position can be covered within the EMEA Region. In your new role, you will provide technical expertise on V&C and their applications in animal nutrition to internal regional teams, customers, and external stakeholders.Furthermore, you assist with nutrition-related challenges and propose tailored solutions in close collaboration with nutritionists and veterinarians.You are responsible for monitoring market trends, industry developments, unmet customer needs, and competitor products to identify NBD opportunities and challenges in the animal nutrition sector with a focus on vitamins and carotenoids.You strengthen the technical positioning of GBU Nutrition Ingredients by building professional networks, conducting V&C technical and commercial tests, representing BASF at industry conferences, events, seminars, and preparing scientific and marketing publications.QUALIFICATIONS You have ideally obtained a science degree or PhD in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary, Biology, Chemistry or related area and have already gained professional experience in Production, Sales and / or New Business Development preferably for Feed additives including Vitamins and Carotenoids.You stand out due to your entrepreneurial drive, curiosity and collaborate for achievement in cross-functional teams.Based on your experience and communication skills, you enjoy working in multinational atmosphere with technical peers from other regions.Preferably you have gained between 2-5 years experience in a similar position.You are able to present confidently and convincingly in technical English language (additional languages could be a plus).Outstanding entrepreneurial drive, curiosity and collaborate for achivement in cross-functional teams.BENEFITS Do you have any questions about the application process or the position?
