This includes interfacing and collaboration with regional selling units (SU), material planning and procurement team, Industrialization team. The Operation leader will be directly responsible for efficient management of relay manufacturing activity, panel integration activity and related functions on site by minimizing cost, driving best quality and delivering the highest customer facing service performance while increasing capacity for panel integration to achieve desired growth and profit targets in full compliance with GE Compliance Guidelines as stated in The Sprit and the LetterJob DescriptionMajor Responsibilities:The position is responsible and accountable for providing direction, planning and execution of manufacturing and supply chain for Panel integration and relay manufacturing to achieve set objectives for sales, contribution margin, safety, quality, cost, delivery, and inventory targets.Achieve financial and operational KPIs focusing on EHS, quality, cost, delivery, and cash targets.Organize the supply chain and manufacturing processes to deliver products/projects on time (from order entry in Plant to delivery to the Customer) aligned to the technical specifications and at the optimum costs and with best quality.Ensure superior communication with selling units/Customers for any quality or delivery requirement.Be a change agent, led by example, coach teams for Lean competency and showing the value and benefits of Lean.Identify process efficiency, cost reduction opportunities in operations using Lean methodology and tools and initiate/monitor project/actions within the operations.Work closely with the global organization of Sales, Delivery and Support, Operations, Quality, Sourcing to resolve day to day issues for smooth functioning.Maintain a healthy working environment by keeping workforce motivated and engaged.Lead and manage the team to ensure performance standards, annual objectives, policies and procedures are met.Set priorities and measure results to encourage higher performance to reach business objectives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or BusinessMinimum 5 -8 years' experience in a Supply Chain, Manufacturing operations position.Desired CharacteristicsExperience of manufacturing disciplines including: production planning, inventory control, variable cost productivity, fulfilment metrics, quality and cost systemsProven mentoring and coaching skills, demonstrated ability to motivate & inspire othersAbility to successfully maintain high morale, employee engagement, safety, and teamwork in mixed hourly and salaried environmentsInclusive leadership style, proven ability to build a connection with the team through personal involvement and trustTrained in Lean principles with demonstrated ability to apply Lean tools and process rigor for continuous improvementProven ability to prioritize, plan and execute important business and supply chain initiatives.Demonstrated ability to influence and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership with energy, passion & enthusiasm to drive change.Clear, strategic, and critical thinker; proven experience in translating strategies into actionable plansAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
