Position DescriptionYou will serve as a POSTAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (POSTAL ADVISOR) in the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) of NAVSUP FLC SIG GF Rota, Spain.Position Duties/ResponsibilitiesYou will serve as a Postal Advisor and Operations Specialist providing effective mail support both afloat and ashore.You will provide mail support to all COMUSFLTFORCOM / COMPACFLT and NAVSUP commands both afloat and ashore.You will managing financial operations, reviewing ships' monthly and quarterly records, mail orderly programs and conducting inspections to ensure effectiveness of postal finance and inspection programs.You will assess the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of work performed by postal commands and activities.You will develop inspection checklists, and training material; and review various directives that encompass evaluation of postal inspection program effectiveness focused on delivery of postal products and services at the operating level.You will manage an operation that is solely responsible for the movement of official and personal mail within the postal activity and other locations DoD-wide through inspections and training by ensuring adherence to postal guidance.Pay PlanGSFull Performance Level11Telework EligibleYes
