We positively engage with personal and professional development and school improvement.Key Tasks:Driving the improvement and development of social-emotional programmes and curriculum for students and staff.Understanding the emotional and developmental needs of Primary students and supporting the relationships with their parents; Providing direct, responsive services to individuals as well as group counselling with an approach that is restorative and strengths-based; significant small group, and some whole class teaching will be included in the role.Establishing and nurturing relationships with students, peers, parents, and the wider community.Inspiring, guiding and instilling a love of learning and a sense of confidence in studentsUse highly skilled communication of sensitive information (both verbally and in writing); Being willing to use expertise to support the admissions process to help ensure that Lady Elizabeth can meet the needs of the children enrolled; Ensuring pupils' knowledge of school procedures, including fire drill.Sharing supervision duties on a rota basis with other members of staff.Substituting for absent members of staff, if required.Attending weekly Staff Meetings and other meetings as required.Taking responsibility for personal professional development and your wellbeing.Participating in the School's TLSE programme, and assisting in the support of all members of their teaching team.Communicating, as appropriate, with the SENCO regarding pupils in their class who might be causing concern.Being responsible for ensuring the Safeguarding and Welfare of all pupils in the school
