Project Engineers

We have a current opportunity for a Project Engineer on a contract basis. The position will be based near Oviedo, Spain and will be a three year project, to build a carbon neutral facility for the production of cathode active materials.What you will do:Prepare, revise, and approve technical documentation for the design phases of projectsEnsure that project documents are complete and optimal for a competitive and fair tender processSupport the procurement phase of specific components and worksControl costs during execution of projectsSupervise the construction, installation, and commissioning of assigned projectsWork with other engineering teams to integrate the work with other specialties into the final project solutionManage vendors and contractors onsitePerform or support commissioning of the equipment before handing over to the Process teamPerform engineering and technical support to the projects when neededTo be successful in this role, you will need:A degree in engineering or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar roleExperience in the manufacturing industryStrong project management skillsExcellent technical skillsThe ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsOur role in supportingdiversityandinclusionAs an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
