Our team is seeking a Regional Cooling Service Representative (Data Center Cooling) which will be responsible for providing professional services for cooling range of products produced by Schneider Electric to customers including technical site analysis, resolve customer's issues and to perform service on -site activities for Schneider Electric's Cooling Equipment & Systems (air cooling, air- or water-cooled chillers). Location & commitments: Full-time employment contract (in Spain/Seville, Slovakia/Bratislava, or other)
Candidates are welcome from EU countries, preferrably: Spain, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Spain, or: United Kingdom Possibility to work remotelyInternational travel (min 50% and more), mostly within EuropeResponsibilities: Perform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire cooling product rangePerform planned and preventive maintenance or unscheduled maintenance and service interventionsEvaluate unit installation (e.g. the quality of pipes for CRAC and the hydraulic circuit for chillers);Evaluate system's installation & operational conditionsAbility to perform onsite adjustments to bring the units to the best running conditionsAbility to perform preventive & corrective maintenance for cooling systemsBe able to identify if the failure is related to a quality issue/ software issue / operation condition issue (Root cause Analysis)Work another Schneider Electric service engineers & partners during site interventionsProperly document, label, and return all defective parts utilized in the repair of equipment to the designated disposal/repair locationTrain Schneider Electric customers on basic operations of the equipmentRequirements: University education - Electrotechnical or Mechanical education (University degree)At least 3 years with commissioning or field service repair with HVAC or cooling equipmentConfirmed experience with Cooling Equipment & Solutions (air cooling, air- or water-cooled chillers)Experience critical HVAC, generators, fire detection/suppressionGood Software tools literacy: MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCADThorough understanding of HVAC principles, specifically cooling and basic knowledge of electricityMust be able to perform duties with general direction, receiving only general guidance with respect to overall objectives (work is usually quite independent of other team members)Must comply with all safety policies, practices and proceduresAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulationsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
