Research Specialist In Cosmetics

The International University of Catalonia is a young university which has been in the Catalan system for the last 25 years. The University recently founded the Bioengineering Institute of Technology to enhance the research in the field of materials science/biomaterials for different applications, mainly tissue regeneration, drug delivery, dentistry, pharmaceutics or cosmetics. In this sense, the institute counts with top ranked scientists, including renowned professors being in the Stanford top 2% rank of researchers worldwide, several competitive project from Spanish Government, European networks, non-competitive funds with industry as well as prestigious fellowships, such as already awarded Juan de la Cierva, Beatriu de Pinos or Ramon y Cajal. We are now currently aim to transfer part of this technology related to the cosmetics field into the market through a recently awarded project. (On the news )
We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our multidisciplinary team as a Research Specialist focused on solid cosmetic development. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a new wave of cosmetic innovation.
RequirementsRole and Responsibilities:
Conduct basic research in the development of solid cosmetic formulations.Collaborate with a diverse team of scientists and researchers to innovate and create new products.Design and execute experiments to evaluate the efficacy, stability, and safety of solid cosmetic prototypes.Stay abreast of industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory requirements related to cosmetic formulations.Qualifications:
Degree (BSc or equivalent) in a relevant scientific field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutics, Cosmetic Science or related field.Experience in cosmetic industry is desired.Background in basic research methodologies and experimental design.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.Why Join Us:
