The ideal candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Quantum Computing, Engineering, Physics, or a closely related discipline.Job functions:Engage actively in R&D projects in Quantum Computing and QAI, collaborating closely with existing DeustoTech research teams and contributing to multidisciplinary efforts across various domains such as Health, Cybersecurity, and Industry.Work in cooperation with the Community of Quantum Technologies of the Basque Country, encompassing a wide range of stakeholders including entities, administrations, technological centers, and companies.Drive the conception and design of new project proposals, their execution and technical management.Play a key role in the training of young talent and promoting quantum literacy in the Basque Country, through collaboration with the Deusto Faculty of Engineering and its academic initiatives.Facilitate the transfer of knowledge and innovation in Quantum Computing and technologies to the industrial and productive sectors.Disseminate research findings through high quality scientific publications and presentations at national and international conferences.Support the strategic long-term research in agreement with the Scientific Director.Mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students.What we offer:We are offering a permanent position that will give you a unique opportunity to continue developing a competitive Research Group.This position represents an exceptional opportunity for an experienced researcher passionate about Quantum Computing and Quantum Artificial Intelligence, aiming to make a significant impact on the technological and economic development of the region and beyond.
