As the rest of the team he /she would have to know the market and the different categories but at the same time his/her role would be a bit closer to the plants, leading and coordinating projects or crisis situations with the plants and, of course, Mercadona buyers.Role and responsibilities:Project manager. Define, plan and execute projects under Mercadona scope. Lead and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Operations, Quality, R&D, Finance, Sourcing, Supply chain)Point of contact of Mercadona buyers during plant visits and projects execution.Organize and work with the teams (rest of Mercadona sales team, operations, quality, engineering, Sourcing, Finance) in order to be ready to fulfill Mercadona expectations.Point of contact of Mercadona buyers in case of Quality or Service crisis situations. Link with the plants and other teams in those situations.Technical support and link between Mercadona Sales team and operational areas.Lead efficiently and with Schreiber qualities the position of Project Manager that will report to him/her.Key Ingredients:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, R&D, Quality or related field.+5 years of experience in sales within manufacturing environmentEnglish and Spanish fluency is required. Portuguese will be a plus.Drivers' license requiredAvailability to travel up to 50% (2-3 days/week to visit Plants)Capacity of dealing with high pressure environments and multidisciplinary teams (Operations, Quality, R&D, Finance, Sourcing, Engineering) High organizational skills.
