NRPS (NIQ Retail Pricing Services) is an ecosystem platform dedicated to provide pricing analysis (pricing indexes, Inflation, assortment price strategy) to the retailers in 17+ countries.This platform handles the end-to-end process (job order management, data centralization, data validation, aggregation and delivery) and the production system is data agnostic (working with in-store, online and scanning data on FMCG and non-FMCG products).The teams are based in India, France and Spain.As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be part of a team of highly skilled and passionate technologists, always looking to learn and improve the platform through cutting-edge technologies for the benefit of our clients.Our on-prem platform is based on Oracle and PostgreSQL DBs combined to a scalable processing cluster using Python, Apollo (NIQ in-memory framework), Airflow, Hive and Parquet technologies.The team works in Agile Scrum and we value best in class engineering practices, also looking to always improve CI/CD approaches and DevOps pipelines.Key accountabilities? Handle and improve existing automated test suite for both front-end (internal and client facing applications) and back-end components, including the actualization of documentation? Be a key contributor of the continuous improvement of the CI/CD pipeline in order to guarantee the quality and the stability of the NRPS platform? Work closely with developers to improve testing best practices? Acquire data/facts understanding and business knowledge to define and implement new relevant test scenarios and test cases? Be an interface between the development team and the operation team.Qualifications* Good level of experience with Selenium and Pytest? Experience with Java, Python and SQL technologies? Basic knowledge of Graylog and Rest API is a plus? DevOps knowledge is a plus? Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business? Empathy for numbers, logic and computation? Ability to make decisions and find creative solutions in an autonomous way?
